A sunshine firefighter moves in next door to a grumpy therapist and crashes into her solo Christmas in this funny age-gap sapphic instalove romantic comedy.

She was hoping to have a quiet Christmas — alone. Her neighbor had other plans.

Avery is a therapist who helps everyone untangle their emotions while keeping her own locked away under several deadbolts. Her holiday plan: peace, solitude, and zero festive nonsense. Then Quinn comes crashing into her life — literally.

Quinn is a firefighter recovering from an injury, and her idea of healing involves loud music, cookies for breakfast, and one catastrophic home repair project after another. From the moment she meets Avery, she's decided: the beautiful older woman is worth pursuing, Ice Queen exterior and all.

Quinn's sunshine stubbornness throws Avery completely off balance. One innocent favor turns into steamy nights, holiday dinners with the family, and a connection neither of them saw coming.

This Christmas, the only thing more dangerous than letting someone in is not letting her stay.

This dual-POV WLW romance is part of the Surrender for the Holidays instalove series, set in Reba Bale's Club Surrender world — each standalone book features matchmaking dommes and a sweet holiday HEA for two women who never saw each other coming.
