Carlo is thirty and has never left the nest — why would he? His grandmother pays a hell of an allowance for a good grandson, no questions asked.
Both parents gone since he was a teenager, Carlo has spent the last decade perfecting the art of doing absolutely nothing: PlayStation in hand, broccoli complaints locked and loaded, grandmother's cooking on the table every night. It's a good life. A little empty, maybe. But good.
Then one Wednesday, everything changes — starting with what's really in the freezer.
He was a good neighbor. He always said hello. That's what everyone will say about Carlo, eventually. Right before the diamonds. Right before the manhunt. Right before he has to decide exactly how far a grandson will go to keep the good life going.
A pitch-black comedy about family, inheritance, and the lies we tell to keep the ones we love close — even after they're gone.
