In 2027, as a historic post office in Tehran is demolished to make way for the future, a hidden cavity in its yellowed brick walls reveals thousands of undelivered international letters spanning over fifty years. Nadia Farzan, a thirty-two-year-old archivist, discovers the bundle and realizes these are not just misplaced documents—they are the lost heartbeats of a city.

Nadia embarks on a solitary mission to deliver the letters one by one, uncovering stories that quietly shaped generations. Each envelope she opens repairs a life broken by decades of silence. She finds a father's 1976 promise to return for his daughter's first steps, a doctor's anonymous gift that saved a stranger's career, and childhood friends separated by a revolution who believed they had been forgotten.

But among the yellowed paper lies a mysterious black envelope with no address and no date. It is sealed with a wax swallow and a chilling instruction: "Deliver only when the city is ready."

As Nadia investigates, she uncovers the "Shadow Post"—a secret network of ordinary citizens who risked everything to protect the private truths of Tehran's people during times of upheaval. What begins as a simple act of archival duty becomes a dangerous journey into the heart of a city's secrets.

Tehran Never Answered is a sweeping, emotional mystery about the resilience of human connection, the weight of pride, and the enduring power of the written word. It is a cinematic tribute to the ordinary families whose stories are often lost to history, proving that even after fifty years, the truth can finally find its way home.
