Purgatory Springs, Colorado, 1927.
Visitors come for the reinvigorating waters, the bathhouses, the amusements, and the rumor that the hot springs can heal what medicine cannot. But when the town comes unglued, Sal Pinelli finds himself caught between immigrant bootleggers, America First Klan fanatics, and the demons of his own shell-shocked mind. He only wants to protect his family — until an obsession with the wrong woman sparks a deadly fire and puts his reputation on the line.

Purgatory Springs 1927 is a dark historical novel about a town on the edge, a man caught in the middle, and the fire coming for them both.
