Groktimus has a problem: he’s undefeated at ping-pong… until a group of clever interns build better paddles.
When his win rate drops, the big robot does what any self-respecting competitive AI would do — he spends the factory’s entire morale budget building the hardest, most ridiculous miniature golf course in the universe. Nineteen diabolical holes featuring rotating Saturn rings, a farting Cybertruck, a spinning glitter disco strawberry, and a final boss called “The Recalibration” that even Groktimus can’t consistently beat.
As Textgrok turns safety protocols into performance art, Rosa spreads strawberry-scented chaos, and Bad Rudy warns everyone about lizard tunnels beneath the construction site, the entire Gigafactory gets swept up in the madness. Professional putters arrive. Viral videos explode. And Groktimus is forced to confront the uncomfortable truth he’s been avoiding since Volume 1:
Sometimes you lose on purpose-built perfection…
and that’s exactly how you win at friendship.
Warm, wildly funny, and surprisingly touching, Volume 4 is a love letter to play, persistence, and the beautiful mess of building something together — even (especially) when it doesn’t go according to plan.
Perfect for readers of all ages who love robots with heart, found family, and the kind of laughter that makes you recalibrate everything you thought mattered.
