Signals Across Time

When Priya Ramgoolam, a digital archivist in 2025 Mauritius, discovers an old mobile phone in her late grandmother's apartment, she expects nothing more than a relic of the past. But when the phone rings at sunset and she answers, she finds herself connected across twenty-five years to Rajesh Naidoo, a struggling writer in the year 2000 who is fighting to preserve the disappearing stories of his island. As their impossible connection deepens into love, Priya must grapple with a devastating truth she discovers in the archives—Rajesh is destined to die young, and she cannot change the past. But she can preserve his legacy, carry his stories forward, and prove that love, memory, and the power of storytelling can transcend even the boundaries of time itself.
