When Lana Stone, the Bad Girl from a wealthy local family, is summoned home to Windleberry to help take care of her ailing, puritanical mother, she is not happy.

When her probation officer says she has to stay in Windleberry for a whole year—or risk a prison sentence—she is even less happy.

Lana is not maternal.

And in strolls Jake Faulkner, old-school bad boy, newly returned from London to take up a lucrative job as a criminal defense lawyer serving the mafia bosses of the surrounding countryside.

The chance to marry Jake is like going to Vegas and winning a wedding for her hen do and a baby for her mother all in one go.

All she has to do is convince him…
