"Poirot Investigates" is Agatha Christie's first short story collection featuring her beloved Belgian detective Hercule Poirot.

Published in 1924, the book contains fourteen clever mysteries showcasing Poirot's "little grey cells" and his methodical approach to solving crimes. The cases range from jewel thefts and kidnappings to murders and espionage, each demonstrating Poirot's ability to solve puzzles through observation and deduction rather than physical investigation. His friend Captain Hastings narrates most stories, providing a Watson-like perspective on Poirot's brilliance.

Notable tales include "The Adventure of the Western Star" (stolen diamonds), "The Tragedy at Marsdon Manor" (a suspicious death), and "The Kidnapped Prime Minister" (international intrigue). The stories are concise, witty, and ingeniously plotted, establishing many hallmarks of Christie's style: red herrings, unexpected culprits, and satisfying revelations.

This collection is presented in its original and unabridged format.
