The last dragon was never meant to wake.

In the mountain village of Brindlehollow, seventeen-year-old Mira Thorne has only ever known the heat of her father’s forge, the silence of the surrounding peaks, and the old stories everyone insists are dead.

Dragons are gone.
The riders are gone.
The Ashfall War is history.

But when an earthquake splits open Mount Eldergloom, Mira discovers something hidden beneath the stone: a living dragon egg.

And it speaks to her.

Soon, soldiers from the capital arrive, led by the ruthless Lord Cadran, a man who carries a black blade forged to bind dragonfire. Mira is forced to flee with the egg, joined by Kael Ardent, a mysterious boy with a burned map and dangerous secrets of his own.

When the egg hatches, Mira bonds with Auron, the last silver-black dragon of an ancient bloodline. But Auron’s fire is more than magic. It is the key to awakening the Crown of Cinders, an artifact that holds the soul of Malrith Veyne, the sorcerer-king who once tried to enslave every dragon in the world.

Now Mira must cross cursed forests, glass deserts, ruined rider cities, and a kingdom falling into shadow to protect the dragon everyone wants to control.

But dragons were never meant to kneel.

And neither was Mira.

The Last Dragon of Eldermist is an epic fantasy adventure filled with dragon magic, ancient secrets, forbidden power, lost riders, dark kingdoms, and the unbreakable bond between a girl and the dragon who chooses freedom over fear.
