Mark, Lydia's former husband, assumes control of his family's maritime enterprise, headquartered in Singapore. He revitalizes the company through strategic investments from Kensington Capital and the integration of cutting-edge artificial intelligence products. Mark then introduces Lydia to Chris, a childhood friend. Chris, who is ten years younger than Mark and Lydia and a distinguished professional soccer player known for his agility and scoring prowess. The three enter into a consensual ménage ? trois encouraged by Mark, aiming to settle unresolved childhood tensions. Later, Mark, Daniel, and Lydia collaborate on an ambitious project to merge the maritime shipping industry with hostile takeover of a struggling newly airline. They plan to power this venture using a sophisticated artificial intelligence model developed by Mark, which is operated at a custom-built data center he established on the north end of the Singapore Island within a remote rainforest nature preserve, emphasizing sustainability and security. To obtain necessary government approval for their operations, Lydia endures submitting herself to the Prime Minister's brutal sexual abuse, which she learns is more of a pleasure than a sacrifice for the venture's success.
