Welcome to the City Barber Shop where the coffee’s always on and the discussions are always open and lively. Here, you’ll meet some real interesting people and perhaps learn some things you didn’t know about the Apollo 11 moon landing, the government, the hereafter, and a host of other topics. So pour yourself a cup, grab a chair, and sit a spell. And if your hair needs trimming, Coot will fix you up right.
Based on a series of popular stage plays by the author, The Barber Shop Dialogues takes a light-hearted look at a small town barber shop in Texas and the people who inhabited it nearly sixty years ago. This book’s setting is a bygone era. Were things better in those days? Who’s to say? But one thing is for certain: Times were different back then. Boy, were they.
