Vivienne Cole has built San Francisco’s most exclusive matchmaking agency on one rule she never breaks: never fall for a client.
When billionaire tech founder Declan Harrington hires Luminos to find him the perfect partner, Vivienne approaches the challenge the way she approaches everything else—with precision, control, and absolutely no room for personal complications.
Declan should be an easy client. He knows what he wants. He respects the process. And on paper, Vivienne has several exceptional women who could suit him perfectly.
The problem is that every session reveals another side of the controlled, maddeningly perceptive man sitting across from her.
And every carefully planned date makes it harder for Declan to ignore the woman who understands him better than any of the matches she has chosen.
Vivienne has spent years building a reputation on knowing exactly where professional boundaries belong. Crossing this one could jeopardize the company she created, the trust of her clients, and everything she has worked for.
But some rules become far more difficult to defend when the person on the other side of them feels dangerously right.
Tempted by the Rules is a contemporary billionaire romance about forbidden attraction, ambition, emotional vulnerability, and two people discovering that the perfect match cannot always be planned.
