Let Us Play

Somewhere along the way, many of us stopped playing.

We became busy. We became distracted. We became convinced that productivity mattered more than presence and that possessions mattered more than moments. But what if we've been leaving something essential behind?

In Let Us Play, lifelong tennis coach Jeff Dollins explores the forgotten power of play—not as something reserved for children, but as a gift meant to enrich every stage of life. Through personal stories and reflections spanning family, animals, community, faith, and modern culture, he invites readers to rediscover the joy that often hides in everyday life.

At a moment in history when technology and artificial intelligence are reshaping the world around us, Let Us Play offers a timely reminder of one of the things that makes us most human.

And perhaps, through moments shared with others, we may discover—or remember—that play was never a distraction from life.

It was always one of the best parts of it.
