Philosophers say the eyes are the windows of the soul...what if you don't have one? Private Investigator John Kirsh is back again for the fourth time, attempting to solve Canyon Creek's most bizarre case. Antonia "Toni" Vazquez-Smith is afraid of her coworker Tsundue Kunzang after filing a sexual harassment claim against him. She elicits the help of her cousin Josephina Flores and a group of tias to rid her of Tsundue's unnatural attachment. Little do John, or the aunts realize how deep the rabbit hole goes, and that some people are not who they appear to be. Josephina, still grieving the loss of her friend and mentor, Abigail Wickham, can see the writing on the wall, but will that be enough to prepare Toni for what will come?
