Grandma Therese says that old people eat less because they’re not as hungry.
But then why does Pingottino, who is very, very old, always eat so much?
Between mountains of hot dogs, pasta with meat sauce, and little green biscuits that taste like toothpaste, Pingottino is no ordinary dog—especially at the table. And when it comes to boiled eggs, he loves them so much that the narrator—who really can’t stand them—makes a top-secret deal with him under Grandma’s table.
Until one day, something goes wrong and the perfect plan falls apart.
A warm and funny story about the friendship between a child and his dog—written in large print to make reading easier and more inclusive—full of those silly little mishaps that somehow always end with a smile.
