This book is the story of a woman, Laijo, born in a lower middle-class family in rural northern India, before partition. An ardent Shaivite and reserved demeanour, her life had been a roller coaster ride. She was so devoted to her husband that she used the term "My Almighty" every single time she mentioned him, but ended up having children with another man. The author vowed to write her journey to the world, the day she discovered the expedition. In this era of ever changing family dynamics, this book gives a strong reflection of how relations were like back in the days. A tale about love, life and devotion, straight from the heart.
