An Ancestor's Honor

By CherylAnn Cook‑Hoar

In the fading years of the Sengoku era, peace is a fragile illusion — and honor is a blade sharpened by blood.

Kai, heir to a conquered clan, is summoned to the Dimeo's fortress to reclaim the great sword stolen from his family generations ago. The ceremony promises unity, feasting, and reconciliation. But beneath the music and ritual, old hatreds smolder, alliances fracture, and rebellion stirs in the shadows.

When Kai overhears a plot to steal the sacred blade, he must choose between silence, confrontation, or loyalty to the warlord who once destroyed his lineage. His decision unleashes a chain of treachery that sweeps across villages, ignites hidden wars, and forces him to confront the true cost of survival.

As betrayal rises and foreign powers move in secret, Kai must decide what an ancestor's honor truly demands — obedience, sacrifice, or the courage to face a future shaped by his own hand.

A sweeping tale of loyalty, vengeance, and the unbreakable weight of legacy, An Ancestor's Honor brings the Sengoku era to life with vivid detail and unflinching heart.
