A disgraced journalist. A superstar DJ. An island full of lies.
Two years ago, Maren Calloway wrote an exposé that destroyed Ilan Voss's career — and her own. Now broke and blacklisted, she accepts a last-chance assignment covering Ibiza's summer festival season, only to discover that Ilan himself approved her press credentials.
What begins as journalism becomes a psychological chess match. Ilan floods her with access while secretly surveilling her every move. Maren uncovers new evidence that her original article was true — but the proof is tangled in fabrication, betrayal, and a dangerous attraction she can't afford.
As the bass drops and the lies stack up, Maren must decide: publish the truth and destroy him again, or write something harder — an honest story that destroys no one and spares no one, including herself.
Set against the pulsing, sun-drenched world of Ibiza's mega-clubs, STROBE is a dark, addictive tale of power, guilt, desire, and the razor-thin line between journalism and destruction.
Content Warning: psychological manipulation, obsessive behavior, toxic power dynamics, emotional abuse, revenge, betrayal, explicit language, and scenes of intense sexual tension.
