Andre is a regular kid making his way around the streets of Philly, testing limits and having fun until he finds himself at odds- and eventually in league- with a vampire who wields a badge but who is no officer of the peace.

A determined kid, a construction worker, an exorcist, a vampire enforcer, a bishop, and a merciless creature create a story of nonstop action. This is a tale of the struggle between those born of the light and those dwelling in the darkness that moves from storied Philadelphia streets, to the shadowed corners of the Master's lair, into the sprawling avenues of Los Angeles, inside secret Vatican- controlled compounds, and exposes the hidden, everlasting void between the struggles of life and the finality of death.
