The Freedom Not to Despair follows the inner life of Søren Kierkegaard — philosopher, outsider, and one of history's most restless souls. Through memory, confession, and dialogue with his own depths, Kierkegaard moves through the three stages of existence: the pursuit of beauty, the weight of duty, and the terrifying leap of faith.
