Millfield was a quiet town. Until the miracles began.

A blind man sees. A dying man recovers. A paralyzed man walks.

Sheriff William Grant has investigated everything from bar fights to homicides. He has never investigated a miracle. But he doesn't believe in coincidences, and three of them in one week is not faith. It's a pattern.

What he uncovers will shake the town to its foundation. What it costs him is something far more personal.

Because William Grant stopped believing in miracles a long time ago. Millfield is about to change that in ways he never expected.
