I was not born a witch. I was Jooney once. Now they call me the Weeja Witch. They tell their children I died long ago. They are wrong.

For sixteen years, the Ghillie Dhu have lived without sleep. Ever since the magical music bow - whose song brought them sleep - was stolen, they have been slowly dying. Now Ash, a young inventor, leads Scout Squad Four on the same quest that claimed his father: to recover the stolen bow and save his people. Alongside Willow, Walnut, Conker and the relentlessly pessimistic Colin, he leaves the safety of Timbertown and ventures into a world of ruthless HoKo, ancient predators and a darkness that reaches far beyond the stories they were raised to fear. Ash thinks this is his story. It isn’t. It is mine.

The Weeja Witch of Kodama Moon is a fantasy adventure set on a moon made entirely of wood, blending razor-sharp humour with genuine darkness as every answer leads deeper into the roots of an older evil. One question is whispered above all others: How does a little girl become the monster everyone fears?

After all, a tree may blossom in the light, but it has roots in the dark.
