Pascale Hervé has retired from the Police Nationale and is working with a former colleague as a private investigator. As she tries to adapt to this new life along with widowhood, a new client brings with her a cold case involving a robbery some twenty years earlier.

Pascale And Patrice Laurent, helped by Pascale's English friend, recently retired Chief Inspector Radfield and a ghost from the past, find themselves plunged into a criminal conspiracy involving robbery, blackmail and murder. As they get closer to the culprit, their own lives are in danger.

Recovery is a modern crime story with a supernatural twist.
