Dorothy Rowe is a compliance auditor who lives in spreadsheets and lease addendums. Stuart Miller is a facilities coordinator who can read a blueprint like a novel. They are invisible, underpaid, and methodically competent. For four years, their paths never crossed.

Then the Vanguard audit lands on their desks. A high‑security vault with a hidden vulnerability. Together, they discover a back door in the building's infrastructure, a legal loophole, and a shared hunger for a life that isn't measured in quarterly reviews.

What begins as a corporate handover becomes a meticulously planned heist. But when the theft triggers an electrostatic taggant... a microscopic forensic tracer... they are forced into a three‑room decontamination airlock. Strip, wash. inspect... every inch of skin, under UV light, by each other's hands.

Final Audit is a slow‑burn neurodivergent thriller about two ordinary people who decide that the system has ground them down for the last time. Expect explicit consent, sensory detail, competence, and a love story that starts with a spreadsheet and ends with a fugitive's dawn.

Includes neurodivergent‑friendly clarity, explicit verbal and non‑verbal consent, close proximity (taggant decontamination), ordinary bodies, heist logistics, corporate satire, and a morally grey happy ending.

The old lives had a very low yield anyway. Let's go.
