Everything in my life is rough right now. My dad lost his job, spends all his time at home getting drunk, and makes staying out of his way impossible.

At school, Mr. Villin continues to ignore me, and I'm as good as invisible to him.

So I decided to run away and leave it all behind, even if there are only two weeks left until graduation, and I have nothing left to lose.

My dad gets in the way of my plans. He tries to beat me, and I'm about to ruin my life by ending his, when Mr. Villin comes like a guardian angel and saves me both from my dad and myself.

When he asks, I tell my biology teacher my plan. But he ignores it completely and claims me as his forever.
