In 2020, my mother fell.

I moved in with her then, and became her caregiver. For four years, I watched over her; four years of my life given for the end of hers, in love and dedication and remembrance, even when she couldn't remember.

Let's pretend it was easy, even when I had almost nothing left in me to give.
