The Three of Wurzelgrund

Happiness by the Spoonful and Curious Notions

Welcome to Wurzelgrund.

A small village nestled among ancient roots, steaming teacups, and the quiet wonders of everyday life.

Here lives Schnurpsel, who believes soup can solve almost anything. Here sits Grumpold, armed with a cup of tea and a legendary grumpy attitude that hides a surprisingly kind heart. And here is Brummelbert, whose calm wisdom often appears exactly when it is needed most.

Together with Mumpf, Flauschmütz, Alma Wurzelweis, the fairies of Steinruh, and many other unforgettable villagers, they experience stories about friendship, courage, change, loss, hope, and the small miracles hidden in ordinary days.

Some stories begin with a melting snowman.

Others with a stubborn goat.

A mysterious hot spring.

A stork bite.

Or the simple question of why friendship sometimes feels so much like coming home.

Filled with warmth, humor, gentle wisdom, and a touch of quiet magic, The Three of Wurzelgrund invites readers to slow down, smile, reflect, and remember what truly matters.

A book for adults alike.

For dreamers.

For tea drinkers.

For those who laugh easily.

And for anyone who wishes there were still places where life moved a little more gently.

Perhaps that place is Wurzelgrund.
