"Pandora's Vault" is a whip-smart Alpine Noir thriller that weaves intrigue, dark secrets, and a generous dose of irreverent humor into the icy underbelly of Zurich's old-money elite. When disheveled private investigator Rafa Mulcahy is sent on what appears to be a routine job—collect a signature and check the contents of a forgotten bank vault—he instead wakes up in a hospital, chained to the bed, and accused of murder.
With his agency partners—the cynical tech genius Simone and his stoic half-brother, Yuki—Rafa must unravel a decades-old conspiracy buried in the Swiss Alps and entangled in wartime science, corporate corruption, and political deceit. The trio's investigation leads from crumbling vaults to elite pharmaceutical firms, red-light districts, and shadowy arms dealers—all while dodging the police, Triads, and a suspiciously charming AI named 'The Lying Bastard.'
