She was born with a map beneath her skin and hunted for it her entire life.
Isabella Ravensmere has spent years hiding from the Hounds of the High Council, terrified of the power burning in her blood. When a mysterious ring fuses to her palm and ignites a force she cannot name or control, everything changes. The darkness she was told was a curse begins to feel like a calling. And somewhere in the shadows of the crumbling city of Vespera, four souls are already moving toward her.
Adrian is a vampire king who stopped believing in forever. Lucien is a shadow-magic warrior who has spent three centuries pretending he doesn't exist. Seraphina is an oracle who has been used as a tool for so long she forgot she had her own story. And Cassian is a guardian who has protected everyone except himself. Together, they are the Nocturne Bond an ancient, living connection that the High Council has spent centuries trying to erase. Because a circle this powerful doesn't just threaten their authority. It dismantles it entirely.
As Isabella uncovers the stolen memories of her bloodline and the truth behind the Council's manufactured history, she realizes the battle ahead isn't only about survival. It's about reclaiming a world that was built on lies and choosing whether the darkness that shaped her will become a weapon, or a home.
