Scivias – A Modern Reading is a philosophical and religious reflection on faith, creation, the human soul, moral responsibility, and the search for divine meaning.
The book is inspired by the visionary world of Hildegard of Bingen, but it is not a translation of her original work and does not claim to reproduce her words. Instead, it uses some of her central thoughts and spiritual images as a starting point for a broader modern interpretation.
Written in a clear, contemplative style, this book invites readers into a meditation on the relationship between humanity, creation, and God. It is intended for those interested in spiritual reflection, religious philosophy, and the timeless questions that have shaped human faith across centuries.
This is an original modern reading — not a scholarly edition, not a literal adaptation, and not Hildegard of Bingen’s own text — but a personal and accessible exploration inspired by her spiritual legacy.
