The transition from piston engines to jet engines is often a significant milestone in every pilot's career. Turbines or jet engines offer different performance characteristics compared to piston engines. Not only do turbines deliver superior power, but they also enable flight at much higher altitudes than piston engines. In this work, you will learn all the basic operating principles of a turbine, along with the main components that make up these types of engines, and a step-by-step guide on transitioning from one engine type to another.
