Eliot falls asleep in New York.

He wakes somewhere else.

Each morning brings a new place, stranger than the last. Familiar rules begin to bend. Streets shift. Rooms distort. Faces linger too long. And with every impossible awakening, one thought grows harder to ignore:

He has to get home.

When I Wake is a haunting short story of shifting realities, quiet dread, and the fragile line between dreaming and waking.

Sometimes the only way home... is through sleep.
